Promoted following successful delivery of the enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation program. Lead a team of 12 direct staff augmented by 20+ external contractors, collectively responsible for the full back-office application portfolio at NW Natural, with an annual capital project budget averaging $5–10M. Ensure SOX compliance, enforce technical best practices across the application SDLC, and drive strategic technology decisions across this broad landscape.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Transformation
- Led the full-lifecycle migration from on-premise SAP ECC to a private cloud-hosted S/4HANA environment, serving as Solution Architect and directing internal staff and external implementation partners across the program.
- Drove adoption of complementary cloud platforms including CPI/BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Fieldglass, and SAC, delivering an integrated modern landscape across finance, supply chain, HR, and asset management domains.
- Replaced legacy work management solution with IFS Clevest, transitioning 400+ field users from ruggedized laptops to iPads and redesigning all field execution processes around a true mobile-first user experience.
ESRI Utility Network Transformation
- Architected the transformation of an on-premise ESRI Geometric Network to a private cloud-hosted (Azure) ESRI Utility Network, including full re-modeling of legacy data into the UPDM and refactoring of all inbound and outbound integrations.
- Delivered a modern geospatial platform supporting NW Natural's gas distribution network, enabling more accurate asset modeling and improved operational efficiency across field and back-office workflows.
Enterprise AI Strategy & Adoption
- Defined and championed the AI tooling strategy for the enterprise applications team, evaluating Claude, GitHub Copilot, and adjacent platforms for their applicability across the back-office portfolio—with particular focus on SAP/ABAP development, configuration analysis, and technical documentation.
- Leading the rollout of AI-assisted development tooling for the SAP and broader applications team, establishing usage patterns, governance guidelines, and quality safeguards appropriate for an enterprise environment subject to SOX controls.

- Developed end-to-end exposure across all business functions—finance, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and distribution—by owning strategic SAP planning and process alignment for the full Werfen group integration.
- Developed UDI-based finished product labeling solution via Adobe Forms and GS1 compliant barcoding.
